First of all a big thank you to Bruce Who arranged everything from start to finish. I arrived at the airport where I was greeted by Denis who’s a lovely friendly driver who gave us water and signed us into WiFi. From the moment we arrived at yasam hospital the care was great. My partner and I were shown to our room which had enough room for us both and a hospital bed for my partner. The room was very clean and we had our own walk in shower room with toilet. I met the translator who spoke good English and between him and the staff it ran smoothly and.i had all my test done there and then. On the day of my op I was greeted nicely by Dr Nebil who is amazing by the way with the translater and made sure I understood everything that he suggested which was great very pleased with my result. After the op I was brought back up the care of the nurses r great and I wouldn’t change any of them. They got me up walking as soon as they could and there were very attentive to me . They check on you all of the time and were quick to jump on if something went wrong. Dr Nebil phoned on a Sunday checking that everything is ok that’s great commitment to his patients. I would definitely book with him again if I had any more work to be done . When it was time to leave they arranged wheelchair assistance for me and everything went well . My first experience was excellent and if I had to come back I would have my boobs doing only with dr nebil. I've had my surgery Monday so I thought I'd come in here and share my honest opinion, the reason I feel the need to write this is because I had a gastric band in 2014 in the uk with the hospital group where I wasn't given advise from a dietitian had the got picked up by taxi taken to Birmingham had the surgery and the next morning they put me in a taxi home, then not long after they liquidated so my after care was nothing. Whereas here it's been amazing all the staff are so lovely , I gave Ali tardu the choice before I went in the bypass or the sleeve and he gave me the sleeve ( even though that's cheaper) the reason was because the band was very stuck and it was better for me. While in surgery he checked everything my liver , gallbladder , kidneys , spleen, pancreatic head and corpus ( whatever that is) bladder uterus and ovarian loops, you get a very detailed report telling you everything. I feel like I've had a full MOT from the inside. Recovery was ok I had gas pain for a couple of days but the nurses keep on top of everything and the people you meet all help , so much gas💨 talk 🤣 I brought my 17 year old daughter with me and she's a huge fan of Ashley the translator , Ashley even took her to get her teeth whitened and and salim patient coordinator he took her to get gifts that she wanted to buy. Just above and beyond. Laughing with her calling her his little sister. Very cute. I'm off home tomorrow to start this new journey I get an extra day because it was a revision surgery but to be honest I could have gone home Wednesday as I felt fine. From my experiance here to the uk , I would never go to the uk again, I will be coming back for whatever its needed in the future. If your thinking of booking just do it , it's been amazing. X

Highly recommended for treatments! The whole process from booking my sleeve to the treatment and care was outstanding. I was given full information on the treatments & payments process. I paid deposit and booked my flights. On arrival friendly driver collected me and my companion. We arrived and quickly escorted to our clean and spacious rooms. I met Dr Ali who explained the procedure and I did all the tests to make sure I was fit to go through with it (xray, weight, scan) they do not let anything pass, and if you do not pass the tests, they will not operate, which was worrying but at the same time brought myself and my family great trust and confidence in the hospital as they clearly think safety first. The staff greeted my sister and I and every staff change they made sure to let us know all said goodbye. I can’t remember all staff names but Salim, the red hair lady nurse, the man one that spoke Portuguese with me and Rachel were top top staff (also many other that I can’t remember names sadly). They really made us feel welcome and showed genuine care! The cleaning staff were also polite and made sure our room was clean throughout. There were toiletries available to use and snacks available. I was taken to my surgery and it went smoothly. I was constantly checked on to make sure I was ok. I’m very happy with my experience and I highly recommend to everybody BookingSurgery.com and Optimed without any hesitation 🤗 Thanks team!

Went for a gastric sleeve last week, the care I got was amazing, nothing was ever to much, interpreters were amazing, the nurses would come in and check on you ask if you need anything if you needed pain relief or wanted to ask something they would come straight away, the room was so big, cleaners came in every morning was very clean, surgeon came to check on you after surgery, my coordinator Bruce was amazing if I had any questions he was happy to help, responded very quickly, would definitely recommend booking surgery.

From the first contact I made with a booking surgery coordinator right to leaving the hospital for home I've had nothing but an exceptionally amazing experience. My coordinator was readily available to answer any of my questions no matter how trivial they seemed to me, I was always given reassurance and made to feel at ease with my decision for getting surgery.on arrival at the airport our driver was there awaiting us to take us to the hospital. I was at Yasam hospital, we were met and by a translator who was very friendly and instantly any anxiety I was feeling just eased away. The hospital is very clean, the cleaners can't do enough for you, changing bedding bringin bfresh towels etc. The nursing staff where done begin they are all so extremely pleasant a warm friendly smile always on their faces, most of the ones I had spoke good English so there was never an issue with language barrier for me, even the odd one who's English wasn't so good would use their phone and translate. My husband came as my companion and even he got treated like a v.i.p he had 3 meals a day and we laughed with the food being a little different to ours at home, he still managed ro eat most of what he was given, there was also an option of food being ordered in for him if he wanted! The nurses would even explain when they were changing my drip bags not only to myself but also to my husband which I found to be a comfort to us both. The level of care was outstanding! My surgeon was Dr.Katar the man is truly a legend, I am 1 week post op and already feel like I have my life back! My only regret is I didn't do this years ago.....and I'll certainly choose bookingsurgery for anything I may need in the future.
