TERMS FOR PROCESS OF REVISION PROCEDURES
While the Bookingsurgery.com and Contracted surgeons make every effort to ensure your safety and achieve best treatment results, each surgical or clinical procedure is related to risk and a specific treatment outcome is a target rather than a guarantee. The aim of revision surgery is to provide improvement in areas where the desired results were not achieved. The primary goal is to ensure patient satisfaction with the results that can be obtained from revision, at this point the literalism of patient’s expectations and the necessity of revision should be evaluated by the surgeon performing the operation.
After plastic surgeries performed by our surgeons in our hospitals, our patients have the right to free or partial paid revision based on the problems that may occur within the first year. Revision requests are initiated by first contacting the patient coordinator at the end of the sixth month following the surgery. The patient should send updated photos and videos to the coordinator at the end of the 6th month, the surgeon evaluates the preoperative and postoperative results and if necessary, a video interview is requested from the patient. The coordinator dealing with revision surgeries will evaluate the case together with the surgeon. These evaluations are finalized between 7-10 days depending on the intensity of the doctor. The patient can follow the status of the assessment through the patient coordinator. After the free or partial paid revision is approved, the patient is given a date in accordance with the doctor's calendar/availability. The patient buys the flight tickets himself/herself. Medications and will be paid by the patient. All the rest of the organization is carried out by Bookingsurgery.com as in the first surgery.
THE COMPLICATION INTERVENES FREE OF CHARGE
- Any kind of seroma problem, all our patients who cannot receive the necessary support from their physician in their country can come back for seroma evacuation.
- Heamatoma, the hematoma problem that occurs after the surgery is repaired by the surgeon during the patient's stay, and the patient only pays for blood transfusion if it is necessary.
- Skin Necrosis
- Breast restoration after implant removal due to infection or heamatoma
- Post bariatric surgery leakage repair
- Intensive care services due to possible problems that may arise in the hospital. (If the cause of the problem is not a health problem that the patient has not reported to us)
- Endoscopic Dilatation procedure
- Ligature Fistulas
- Remark: The above mentioned complications shall be confirmed by objective medical testing such as scans, blood tests etc. and patient should be consulted within first 3 months after surgery.
Terms and Conditions of Revision Surgeries
- Free or partially paid revision operations are performed by the surgeon who performed the patient's first operation. In exceptional cases, the patient is informed which surgeon can perform the operation.
- Revision surgeries are arranged by the patient's coordinator at the time interval deemed appropriate by the surgeon. The patient is expected to come for the appropriate dates given,
- In case of cancellation of free revision surgeries by the patient, the patient loses the right to revision. For partial paid revision surgeries, a deposit payment is taken for the patient to keep the surgery date and the patient has the right to postpone 1 time.
- The patient purchases his/her own flight tickets for free / partial paid revision surgery, transfers from airport to hospital – hospital to airport are covered by us.
- The patient can take the medication package to be given to take home by paying the current medication price on the date of surgery.
- Extra medical equipment that may be required during the operation (new implant - mesh - stent - dilatation balloon etc.) is paid by the patient.
Conditions not covered in free revision:
- Increase or decrease of the patient's weight at the time of surgery in a way that affects his/her appearance
- Patients with a BMI over 30 at the time of surgery (Revision surgeries are offered 0 off original price)
- Postoperative complications such as seroma that may occur after surgery, leaving damage to the body, the cost of will be 1000 euro for scar revision of seroma damage.
- Elasticities due to skin quality of the patient with post bariatric surgery history
- Ruptures that may occur in the breast due to implant application due to the lack of adipose tissue in patients with a normal body mass index of 25 BMI.
- Breast contracture
- Keloid formation
- Bone deformity that may occur after rhinoplasty in patients over 40 years of age
- Problems that may occur due to breast asymmetry.
- Problems that may occur due to smoking, drug and alcohol usage.
- Problems that may occur in patients with chronic diseases affecting recovery (diabetes, etc.)
- Revision requests made 1 year after the operation are considered as paid surgery.
- Patients who had already a revision surgery paid or not paid are not acceptable for free revision.
