TERMS FOR PROCESS OF REVISION PROCEDURES

While the Bookingsurgery.com and Contracted surgeons make every effort to ensure your safety and achieve best treatment results, each surgical or clinical procedure is related to risk and a specific treatment outcome is a target rather than a guarantee. The aim of revision surgery is to provide improvement in areas where the desired results were not achieved. The primary goal is to ensure patient satisfaction with the results that can be obtained from revision, at this point the literalism of patient’s expectations and the necessity of revision should be evaluated by the surgeon performing the operation.

After plastic surgeries performed by our surgeons in our hospitals, our patients have the right to free or partial paid revision based on the problems that may occur within the first year. Revision requests are initiated by first contacting the patient coordinator at the end of the sixth month following the surgery. The patient should send updated photos and videos to the coordinator at the end of the 6th month, the surgeon evaluates the preoperative and postoperative results and if necessary, a video interview is requested from the patient. The coordinator dealing with revision surgeries will evaluate the case together with the surgeon. These evaluations are finalized between 7-10 days depending on the intensity of the doctor. The patient can follow the status of the assessment through the patient coordinator. After the free or partial paid revision is approved, the patient is given a date in accordance with the doctor's calendar/availability. The patient buys the flight tickets himself/herself. Medications and will be paid by the patient. All the rest of the organization is carried out by Bookingsurgery.com as in the first surgery.

Eloise Catmur reviewed The most amazing experience

I had surgery 4/7/24 and I'm currently5 months post op. I've lost almost 7stone and feel like a completely different person. The surgery itself has been absolutely incredible - but more than that - booking surgery have been amazing throughout. I booked months in advance and my coordinator was on hand for any questions through those months that popped into my head with a speedy reply. There was a WhatsApp group for everyone having surgery the same month so we could all discuss our worries/excitement etc. the booking was made really safe and quick with no hiccups. Now, post surgery, my coordinator is still there if I have any questions or concerns, I have a dietician on call for the first year and still the WhatsApp group with the people who had it done in July that we use daily to chat, send food ideas and send our progress pictures! I have nothing negative to say about the company at all and would recommend them to anyone. My coordinator was David Turker and he's gone above and beyond for me with regards to any questions, worries, advice etc ! Thanks for everything guys, you've changed my life!

Georgia Kennedy reviewed Fdl with breast reduction and uplif

From arriving at the hospital to leaving I cannot fault this hospital or any of its staff. Everyone was so nice and on the ball with everything. Nothing was too much. I chose Dr Nebil for my surgeries after researching his previous work and talking to other patients of his. He was an absolute gent throughout!!! Made me feel at ease, answered any questions myself or my husband had. He came to see me everyday that I was in his care. I honestly cannot reccomend him and his staff enough. It was an absolute pleasure xxx

Naomi Shield reviewed Dr Yalcin: Plastic surgery: Medistanbul

I had plastic surgery recently with Dr Yalcin and his wonderful team at Medistanbul. My lovely co-ordinator Karen was on hand for reassurance throughout the whole process from booking to post op care. She replied quickly and put me at ease when feeling anxious. The hospital (Medistanbul) was clean and modern however, I do have a little bit of constructive feedback regarding the hospital. 1.) Please get some new pillows as many of the pillows were like sleeping on golf balls. However when this was raised they did find me a more comfortable pillow. I did have to use a couple of the 'golf ball pillows' to prop myself up due to the fact I had extensive plastic surgery and needed 3 pilllows to even try and get comfortable. 2.) The sofa bed that my husband had to sleep on all week was extremely uncomfortable and stained. Once bedding was given this stain was covered so was not raised with the staff, however this sofa bed could do with upgrading.3.) The food is not great. (We do appreciate that it is hospital food) the variety is limited and it wasn't very warm. However, there is a little room with a kettle and snacks and this did include cereal and I enjoyed cereal in the morning rather than the strange Turkish breakfast. The hospital is in a great location and is next door to a shopping mall with lots of takeaways. The translators are happy to help ordering takeaways if you are alone. The hospital was clean and the cleaners came in everyday to do the floors and bathroom and change beds. The little tea/snack room is a grea to have for patients and companions. The translators in the hospital were great and always on hand if needed and friendly. They also came in a couple of times a day to check everything was OK and made sure we had everything we needed. The nursing staff at Medistanbul were absolutely fantastic! They were very friendly and went above and beyond. Dr Yalcin is a incredible surgeon and extremely talented. He does not speak English but there was always a translator with him to make sure we understood each other. Dr Yalcin was honest and managed my expectations of what he could achieve with surgery after 13 stone weight loss. When I woke up it turned out that he went above and beyond my expectations. I really liked that he was honest and didn't get my hopes up though, this is the sign of a very good surgeon in my opinion. When I returned home my co-ordinator has been great at contacting Dr Yalcin with any worries and again there has always been a quick reply. Overall I have had a great experience the only criticisms being the hospital itself. Also I had a blood transfusion whilst in surgery and needed to pay extra for this (which I was aware of as its in the surgery documentation that was sent) however the process of getting hold of a receipt for the cash paid (to claim through insurance). Getting a receipt was a difficult process and not great when you are trying recover: this should be looked into so that a receipt is given as standard when any cash is paid. Thank you to everyone at Booking Surgery! I will see you all again when I return to finish off my surgery in March 2025.
