I had a fantastic experience with booking surgery from start to finish this is my 2nd time using booking surgery and medistanbul hospital and the service is absolutely fantastic from the transfer as soon as you arrive who is so friendly and super helpful to the staff when you arrive at the hospital the checks the cleanliness the 10/10 care from all nurses I just can’t thank them all enough I’ve had the best experience once again my procedure went amazing and my aftercare has been so so good you couldn’t ever get this sort of care in the uk honestly I’m quite sad to be leaving I’ve made friends for life also lily the translator took me to the mall next door and treated me to some food and iced tea and really took care of me I’m so over the moon with my healing after my operation dr yalcin is a magician and has been to see me daily to check on my wounds and my dressings and to check I’m ok the cleaners are in everyday cleaning the rooms and changing your bedding April also the translator who I met last time I was here is outstanding so kind friendly and polite and really makes too feel so comfrable I recommend booking surgery wholeheartedly I can’t wait to be back again and see them all I feel like there all one big family now thank you booking surger dr yalcin and medistanbul hospital

I have had many surgeries with this company and I am already booked to come back for my teeth!! I just got home from having an arm lift and a few other nips and tucks. Dr yalcin is incredible!! I’m extremely hard work after any operation and an emotional mess but they inc him dealt with me very well. My coordinator Robert is an absolute sweetheart he was on hand 24/7 and still is. The translators especially Morgan and lily my favourites are so kind and very good at there jobs. David and Gemma came and checked on me as did basak the most kindest woman. She took my booking many years ago and she’s a wonderful woman. The hospital is 5* for cleanliness. Surgery is very scary for anyone especially on your own but I was looked after very well as I always am!! I paid an excellent price for my treatments and could not be more happy with my results so far. For me they was life changing parts of my body which needed fixing yalcin has gone above and beyond for me. I’m hoping to get my face done by the face doctor soner when I am old enough to need it he is unbelievably talented!! I will never book anywhere else thank you so much booking surgery for doing the best yet again!!

I had my surgery back in October 2023. I am now 7 months post op. I paid £2,345, excluding flights. They offer packing deals which includes flights too. They ask for a £300 online deposit, the rest you pay in sterling cash (ideally) but you can pay by card, it just means you have to pay a fee. The price includes... - Transfer from Istanbul Airport to the hospital - 4 nights/5 days stay in a fully-equipped room in the hospital - Translation services at the hospital - Pre-op tests, such as... . Blood tests . ECG . Chest x-rays . Ultrasound . Covid test -Consultation with doctors - Nursing care -Total anaesthesia -Laparoscopic Surgery using FDA-approved materials - One companion free of charge ( accommadation, all transfers) - 3 meals for both you and your companion - Full hospitalisation - Medication to take home They pick you up, they give you water and WiFi in the transfer mini bus. Depending on what hospital you go to, it'll take about an hour to get to there from the airport (I went to optimed) Once you're there, they check you in, take you to your room and talk you though the process of what's going to happen. A team on nurses come in and do all the pre op tests. They bring you dinner then you cant eat or drink after midnight. A nurse will then come round and do an enema (horrible). The next day, you go down for ultrasound. Then you meet your surgeon. I had Dr Ali Tardu - very well known in Turkey, really friendly happy guy, specialises in bariatric surgery. You also see an anaesthesia nurse to confirm you are able to have it done. Then the money man comes round. No money, no cutty as someone in our group put it. From there, you are left in the room, another nurse will come round with your hospital gown, compression socks and hairnet. By which time, they should be able to give you a rough idea on when your surgery will be. They collect you, give you a sedative on your way to the operation theater, wheal you in and transfer you onto the operation table then lights out. You wake up, you have these blue airboots on that keep the circulation going though your legs. I was very in and out of consciousness, extremely drowsy. My mouth and lips were dry. You can't drink water, but you can have a water spray to spray into your mouth. The nurse will come in give you pain medication and IV drip. When you start to feel better and up to it, you need to walk as much as you can up and down the hall to release some of the gas in your belly. Each day gets a little easier. By day 2, I went for a walk up to the shops (with a little bit of difficulty but I did it at my own pase). Remember everyone is different and some days will be better than others. They will give you a 'fit to fly note', all your blood work and notes in a folder and a card to carry with you so when you eat out you are able to get a smaller portion or something from the child's menu. You will get a bag of medicine such as.. - Stomach protectors - Blood thinner injections - Antibiotics - Painkillers All included with the price. You can also buy your operation video on usb which I did but haven't watched yet. I'm strange like that though! Why I chose this company I got cold feet before going ahead with booking. When I messaged my co ordinator this, his response was along the lines of ‘that’s okay, I understand this a big decision to make. I am here if you change your mind’. He didn’t push me with any promotional offers, trying to persuade me to change my mind like other companies did. I also love that it’s FULL hospital stay. They don’t ship you off to a hotel down the road. Robert was absolutely amazing. I would message with a question and he would answer with detailed answers and usually very quickly regardless of the time of day. He was so friendly too. My partner came with me as a companion (which was included in the price) and had a sofa/Z bed next to me in the hospital room. All the staff were super helpful, friendly and always happy to help. I’m so glad I chose this company, I have no negative feedback. Having this surgery has given me a new lease of life and I am unbelievably grateful. Thank you booking surgery, you literally saved my life!

I have used Booking Surgery for both Bariatric and Plastic surgery and based on my own personal experience I can not rate them highly enough and I would not use any other company going forward. When doing my research Booking Surgery was always the safest option for me with the added bonus of being cost effective. My coordinator Mike Smith was excellent from start to finish and was always very caring and prompt to reply and answer and questions that I had. They provide safe clean hospitals with 24 hour monitoring and care and their surgeons are some of the best in their field who put patients safety before money. There is always a Booking Surgery staff member or translator on site to help and they listen to patients feedback and act on it promptly. From what I can see they are constantly striving to improve and make sure their patients have a good and safe experience with them.

From the moment I found the right coordinator Mike Smith he was so lovely and caring and understood how overwhelming it can all be, he was patient and gave me so much advice about the gastric sleeve and reassured me all will be OK, and it was fantastic care! The pick up from the airport to the hospital, all the team being caring and getting all the tests done , going at my speed making sure I was OK throughout it all. Getting checked on regularly, meeting my doctor Ali tardu and he too was so kind and took the time to meet me and so many others. 10/10 for the care received. Would definitely recommend and go back myself for other surgeries.

From the moment I picked up the phone to enquire about teeth surgery to the end of treatment I was welcomed and made to feel completely at ease at all times . Rosie was my coordinator and made sure the whole thing was stress free ,and an enjoyable experience, one to remember . She handed me over to Nora who is the coordinator once you arrive . She was such a great mentor always keeping me informed of my treatment and what it would involve . Not only did she work in work hours but she was available 24/7 for any queries or reservations that I may have had. She went above and beyond at all times making it an experience that was what I expected exciting and full of things to look forward to. The dental team worked alongside Nora at all times and communicated well I would totally recommend this company for this as I am 100% pleased beyond

I have recently returned from having surgery in turkey which I booked through booking surgery. The process from start to finish has been phenomenal and still on going as my coordinator is still happy to help with any questions I have post op. My co ordinator was Robert Campell, he’s truly been fantastic, at the beginning he was great at responding to my worries and always making me feel at ease, and even now post op with anything I need, I never have to wait long for a response from him. Truly lovely person. I have to say all the coordinators are brilliant and happy to help with questions. Booking surgery as a whole has been brilliant, the social media groups, the support etc, they have everything from transfers, which is brilliant as they help so much with the airport when returning back home, the translators in the hospitals, they were fantastic, nothing was ever too much. What I really love about booking surgery is that you can take a companion with you who can share your room with you. This is an absolute game changer from other companies and I truly hope this remains in place. When booking loads of info is given re the surgeons and the hospitals. I was so happy with my surgeon and hospital, surgeon was fantastic, professional and respectful, the hospital was so modern, hotel like. I highly highly recommend booking surgery and I will definitely be using them in the not so distance future again. Thank you for everything
